we’ve had our eye on this region for some time...
it’s a prolific wine growing district with established wineries seemingly everywhere (that isn’t a golf-course or spa centre). but the real action is hidden amongst the trees. off the beaten track, free from prying eyes and the seasonal terrorist-tourist trade.
the Dogshead wine making operation is an example of back-beach/back-yard boot-legging …at it’s best! It has evaded detection by cloaking itself under a complex canapé of native flora; [insert plant and tree types here] all serve as the perfect natural setting for their successfully concealed activities. until now! what with the eagle eye on WMD [Wine Making Detection], we can now lift the lid on Dogshead’s little vat and gain an insight into the true spirit of local wine production.
